Regenerate

Harnessing the Body’s Healing Power

Regeneration of Musculoskeletal Tissue

At Foot-Doctor, we tap into the human body's remarkable self-healing capabilities to address musculoskeletal conditions.

Our regenerative therapies aim to enhance the repair of damaged tissues, bolstering the body’s innate recovery processes.

Decades of research and clinical application have revealed the potential of treatments like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to alleviate pain and improve joint function. While long-term efficacy studies are ongoing, current evidence offers encouraging support for PRP's utility in regenerative medicine.

We meticulously track and document our patients' recovery, ensuring optimal healing outcomes. This rigorous follow-up not only supports individual health aspirations but also contributes to the broader understanding of regenerative therapy efficacy.

Key Benefits

Non-Surgical Option
Provides an alternative to invasive surgical procedures.

Tissue Regeneration
Promotes the regeneration of damaged ligaments, tendons, and cartilage.

Quick Recovery
Encourages faster healing, leading to shorter recovery times.

Natural Healing
Utilises the body's own healing mechanisms to repair tissues.

PRP Therapy
Advanced Healing

At Foot-Doctor, we have the capacity to offer Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, a treatment which, while not universally adopted in clinical practice, has shown potential in managing conditions such as plantar fasciitis.

Some studies suggest it may also aid in the healing of tendinopathies and ligament injuries.

Opting for PRP therapy with us means you're able to engage with a forward-thinking approach to care, underpinned by a commitment to the most responsible application of emerging medical therapies.

ESWT Shockwave Therapy
Non-Invasive Pain Relief

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) is a non-invasive method that uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing in musculoskeletal tissues.

This therapy has been applied to alleviate pain and promote repair in bones, tendons, ligaments, and fascial tissues.

The technique employs compressed air to propel a projectile inside a tube, impacting a metal applicator against the skin. This action transforms kinetic energy into radial shock waves, which can penetrate tissues up to a depth of approximately 4 to 5 cm.

Clinical studies have documented benefits such as reduced pain, diminished functional limitations, and improved strength in patients after undergoing ESWT.
